Turned boiler on controller was calling for heat led on but boiler did nothing

There are link terminals inside the boiler control panel it was lr ls on mine but check the boiler manual

You will need to remove the cables from the control panel that go to the external thermostat and put a link wire in these terminals if not connecting an external thermostat

Did consider getting a smart thermostat but cant really see the point and youre still looking at probably around £200 minimum
