    These sakura pens have a dark grey body color to identify them from the commonly known sakura pen line (that has a light tan color.

    The label on the product container tells the artist that these pens aren't for paper, they are for surfaces like acetate, mylar, plastics, thin layers of clear dried glue, surfaces the common sakura can't stay on.

    I have bought several sets of these microperm pens and used them with great success on acetate, mylar, glossy stock paper, plastic, metal, drawings covered with thin layer of pvc glue.

    Microperm ink will not smear or come off, yet can be corrected, covered over with gesso, opaque paint pens.
