    It took some effort to move the steel belts out of the hole, but eventually managed to insert the string all the way in and get it released from the applicator and trimmed down.

    There was roofing nail that i took out, then reamer was used.

    The plug is still visible on tire, so, if needed, i can redo the plug but it appears unnecessary to do so.

    The tire was a goodyear tire and probably was rated for 50k, so it was time to replace it.
