This gadget is a game changer. It detangles things quickly and easily! Even works well yo get burrs and stickers out!
My golden doodle seems to mat up easily. It looks patchy but she's afraid of the groomer and this is a good compromise for her comfort. I have an f1b labradoodle who’s has the most gorgeous coils you’ve ever seen. Works great on fox terrier, too.
It glides through small tangles well. Most tools go through the whole tangle. I have several dematting brushes/combs and this one by far is the best!

I used the regular brush to follow up behind this then lastly took the slicker brush to remove the remaining little pieces of the matting that were cut loose
