The ease of use and ease of cleaning the milk system is why i chose this appliance. The lack of a need to descale the machine for literally years if using the filters is well worth the trade off.

Level 12 is the coarsest setting, level 1 is the finest. Saeco's site says it will take 5-7 cups to adjust to each level adjustment of the grind setting.

Cons

The right sided drawer won't be completely closed. It says the bean lid isn't on even though we've attached and wiggled it.

A pricey piece of garbage. I highly recommend noone buys this product. Save your money and look elsewhere.

The touchscreen is cool but the level of customization leaves much confusion. Decided to upgrade a few months ago to xelsis. Both have been returned for defects.
