That may seem lackluster for a 5 star rating but i got this to replace one id bought 2 years ago from another manufacturer based in part on that manufacturers claim they could handle drives over 2tb only to find out a few weeks ago theyd misrepresented their product

The transfer speeds were in the 60mbsec range but this could be due to the red wd hdd or the usb 3

Inside youll see a small raised section to help guide harddrives into the correct spot so you dont end up trying to ram the harddrive and breaking the connector

I followed the directions by inserting the hard drive which was pretty easy because it was obvious which way the hard drive lined up connected it to my new laptop via usb and the files came up in a folder on my new computer looking just like they would on my old computer
