Based on the test canister it's easy to use, had great aim, and shot far. I haven't had any problems with the lock feature.I haven't had to use it in a tough situation yet (thank goodness), but I keep it on me at all times. I don't like having to dig in my purse for it or risk it dropping out of a pocket. So I keep it in reach by wearing it on my hip. The clip is super weak now after 1 Year, so it tends to fall off my pants when walking around unless I put the clip facing OUT, meaning the canister is literally inside my waistband touching my skin unless I have an undershirt on. I don't mind the contact but the lack of security is annoying and inconvenient. I wish it had a stronger clip. But overall not a bad product. It's small and discreet enough to be hidden by most of my outfits. Even when I don't or can't hide it most people don't even realize what it is. I thought the red on top would immediately give it away but so far so good.  Read Less
