Pros & Cons

Pros

Great training aid for inexperienced and for trigger control. The rounds have a soft spot in the center to prevent dry-fire related issues with you firing pin. This helps to practice using your firearm safely.

Gr 40s&w unfired fmj usually weighs around 15-16 grams. Fit my g23 perfectly and cycled through with no issues. Cycle great through my xd-40 subcompact.

These are better than a similar product that were red, anodized aluminum. They just came packaged in a plastic zip bag. They feel premium.

They showed me an error in the magazine feed that i could find from the comfort of my dining room table rather than out at the range where it was way too hot to be outside doing this kind of detail sleuthing

They come shipped in a convenient metal tin and they have the rubber end where the firing pin of the handgun would normally strike the primer on a regular bullet

I cant attest to the longevity of they just yet as i have only dry fired like 2 times each

And for those that have wondered no these do not eject like a real round as there is no ignition so to speak to force the slide back like when you fire a live round

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

You will then manually pull back the slide to eject the round and repeat

And as always you still need to treat your weapon as if it is loaded with a live round
