Carbon fiber of course saves you a very significant amount of weight relative to other materials but what matters the most on dirt roads is that you keep the bike securely balanced as you touch the various contact points

If you are the casual rider stay away from a full carbon seat and get your fat butt a nice cushy seat

I can usually go 5060 miles on a carbon seat comfortably and ive done 95 miles on this seat works okay beyond 60 miles

This seat does bend and give with bumps on the road remember your cushion should come from the pants not the seat
