Megadeth was at one point one of the most talented thrash bands in history even more so than metallica dave mustaines former band he left before kill em all was released

With all this talent youd figure that megadeth would be at the top of the thrash heap but megadeth is not the most consistent metal band out there nor is dave the most consistent songwriter

Rust in peace is easily the best megadeth release blowing away all albums before and after it with the possible exception of youthanasia

Rust in peace is almost completely relentless the only slow song being the weird and short dawn patrol
