The pocket is possible to fit the phone with an otter box on but it does take me some time to get the phone in and out

Unfortunately my phone is too big to fit properly inside while yesyou can squeeze it in there the sides of the opening bump up against the onoff and volume buttons leaving your phone to restart itself a million times over in a few minute period

It did fit my ipod pretty well though so it wasn’t a complete waste
