Prior to installing the extra adhesive pads make sure the rug back is clean. Needed the extra sticky pads to grip firmly.

Cons
This item rols up snd looks melted and squishy after 2 days. The product is no better than if you used scotch tape.
They stick to floor but not rug or carpet. The fabric adhesive is a joke. Even with the pads provided for extra grip, gravity alone is enough to pull the ruggies loose.
