It did seem slightly asymetrical as no matter what we did we couldnt get it to line up with our rug

Our pup loves to chase the cat down the hall like its a speedway and wed have to put the rugs back in place probably at least 10 times a day very annoying

Once the pad was put down poor doggie ran to floor surf but was stopped short in her tracks because the rug would not slide
