Pros & Cons
Pros
Lovechow thick and cushiony this is. Cut this to fit under rung in my living room. My roomba can go over it.
This pad makes the area rug feel more like a comfortable carpet. Adds a nice level of extra padding between the floor and weight of the furniture. The rug is now much more comfortable to sit on and feels very plush.
Cons
The adhesive is barely existent and just low quality. Bunching is another problem. Appears to be about 90% nylon & woven plastics with only about 10% felt in the form of yarn strips about 1 - 2 long interwoven.
Highlights
Quality
12” thickness is the way to go highly recommend this product
I have no issues with the large rug slipping and this felt doesnt stick to nor damage the floor
I am assuming the rubber side would be up and the soft felt side would be down and in contact with the actual floor
I’ll gladly pay for high quality and made in the usa
Competitiveness
I bought to place under a 6x9 area rug in a room with cold tile flooring
Got this for a thin 9x12 rug on hardwood
