Our cats are big and full of mischief. No sign of damage or residue on my hardwood floors either.
Great product for runners. Stays in place while moping and children running on it. Prevents injuries from rug related fall around kids and elders.
Cons
Did not adhere well to the carpet. Does not stick well.
