We have 4 large dogs and a large wooded back yard needless to say our carpets can look hideous at times

The machine itself is basic no more now less no fancy bells or whistles but for a serious job this is the machine for us

The entire housing is made of thick abs plastic the power cord with builtin gfci is heavyduty and long and theres nothing fragile about any piece of the machine

My only complaint here is that the spray jets and scrubber brushes are about 5 inches back from the front of the machine so its difficult to get right up to a wall in front

On the bissel the jose broke on the second use and leaked everywhere
