Pros & Cons
Pros
I expect this trashcan lid to outlive me. It fits over my rubbermaid 32 gallon, wheeled trash container. It's not a flimsy low quality lid.
It works and does what it is designed to do:1. It keeps the dogs out (if snapped down tightly) 2. It help to prevent any pesters like rats or roach sneak in. Extremely durable. It feels kinda funny sometimes to rate certain things.
Cons
Lids are flat and in some places is concave. I'm concerned that raccoons will find it easy to open. Had to carve the latches almost off.
Highlights
Quality
Once i learned how to use the lid with my bad fingers it became a good product
These lids are made of quality material
I only hope i can keep up with the lid after the refuge people throw it on the ground
Found that if you align the lid tab with the handles push in on the can handle while lifting the lid it comes up fairly easily
Packaging/appearance
I needed this to replace one the blew off on the way to the dump
The recycle people who serve my community have all two of my lids blow away after emptying the recycle bend
Competitiveness
Its fine as it is and a decent price compared to others
