Pros & Cons
Pros
Front and back steps are much safer now, and maybe i won't have to repaint the wood so often. They stay put when our rottweiler and german shepherd climb up or down the steps. They are much easier to clean than the steps - hosing off does it.

Rubber treads need to be glued down or they ripple like a paper bag. Stairmats feel hefty and like quality build, but ruined by the packaging.
