Some of the bands have some flakey stuff on them. Durability is poor and so is the elasticity. Rips off and the broken pieces gets in the hair.

They do not use the loom itself rather weave these on their hands

Well maybe they just ask for them because their sister puts so much work into them but still

Now if youre a beginner and just learning and you dont have the item that holds the rubber bands for you while you criss cross it might be difficult but my daughter has been doing this for such a long time she usually doesnt even use that tool anymore
