I didn’t realize you had to screw it in and that was a hassle but it’s optional in my opinion i just haven’t unscrewed it since it took some time to screw into the cricut

You cant open the cricut all the way but there is no need to have the top cover all the way extended

However youre unable to open the lid for the explorer 3 which is stationed on the bottom without taking it out
