You do get some ringing because it depends on the resonance produced when you strike the mesh heads

Regarding the 22 head i wasnt crazy about the bracket that is used to attach the pedal

It is stable enough not to move around but i dont get the same firm connection like when attaching to the hoop

Also my particular pedal has a rather wide clamp and is too wide for that bracket to really make a tight secure connection

I have a couple of other pedals that are of normal clamp width and one of them has the same issue doesnt fully tighten

Also be aware that if you cant use a double pedal because the bracket is made for just one pedal plus the sweet spot on the head is right in the middle

Personally i like the aquarian superpad better
