Pros

Appreciate the attentive customer service so far. Works well, cleaned easily. It works beautifully though, and is beautiful in appearance.

Heavy enough to flatten dough. Functionally, the pin is medium weight and glides smoothly.

The marble rolling pin and stand are absolutely beautiful! The rolling pin is amazing although the stand was damaged upon arrival. It seems to be of good quality, when we got it in it did have a slight chip in the roller itself.

Cons

Not surprised based on the packaging. Poor packaging allows the contents to shift.

The one from amazon arrived perfect with the exception of a slightly crumpled box

Ive wanted a nice maybe one for a long time and this one with the steel handles works great for me

They do not pack rhe product well and the stand was broken on arrival

First the actual length with the same diameter within the taper at each end is 11 inches

Shipping

The box was a little beat up in shipping but the pin and the stand were not damaged

Packaging/appearance

It does have a very solid feel and rolls very smooth form just me examining it after seeing the beat up packaging

Pros heavy and rolls easily durablecons poor packaging

I would not consider the packaging esthetically giftable though
