The instruction guide has excellent instructions on how to set your fingerprint and combination correctly. It is nice to have a key, combo, and fingerprint. Number pin works great, fingerprint works great.

The only downfall to this is the batteries don't last but for 30-40 opening of the box. Despite the issues, this thing is super sturdy, quite heavy, and i do like it. It works great and stores my pew pew perfectly.

Doj compliant safe for a bargain of a price. Opens quickly and reliably. Heavy and solid, although i could pry it open with the right tools in 10 minutes.

Fits a revolver in holster easily. Perfect size for both of our xd-9s with two mags for each gun. It holds my glock 19 gen 5 and my glock 43 with one mag extra each with room to spare.

The lock disengages when using key or passcode but lid just would not pop open. The lid would not lift unless you give this box a gentle shake. Batteries drain incredibly quickly compared to another safe i have.
