Pros
Seema is a great trans oil.
Shifting is a lot smoother overall. Everything works smoothly. A little stiff shifting but warms up and is smooth.
Synchromax has better fluid properties at colder temperatures for the gear box. No more grinding going into second gear. It still grabs a little going into 5th when i am on it.
Cons
The nv3550 takes exactly two bottles. Was looking for something to make shift's bit smoother. Its no smoother. When it gets hot it gets worse. Google 'royal purple synchromax smell' my jeep is extremely hard to get into gear for the first 5km.

The gear box in my 30 year old land rover defender is tired and worn out and the shifting is finicky

I flushed out the gear box and filled with royal purple hoping it might help a little but my god its like new now
