Pros & Cons
Pros
Great flavor when mixed in the hopper with wood pellets. Pellet grilling is cleaner as well.
They seem on the expensive side, but we don't use much at a time with our suitcase traeger. It’s really more affordable than it initially seems. They work well and seem to smolder for a long time.
Cons
Had issues in my pellet cooker. These pellets impart very little flavor in my experience.
Lump charcoal is no good for pizza oven. This stuff smells god awful. Produces almost no smoke, that's a plus, and the only thing i liked. Do not use in traeger. Do not use inignite.

Competitiveness
It does not compare to using actually charcoal in an way as far as i am concerned
I have some off brand charcoal pellets that ive used previously
