The water taste far superior than anything from a plastic bottle. Lake water tastes fantastic and so does my tap water here in the city. Water tastes great.
Cons
All the fluoride gravity filters i've seen are the same design. Berkey doesn't get inspected by consumer groups. Dint not have any luck with tis product.

There are some negative reviews of this water purification system because i think there are misunderstandings of what people are actually purchasing or they are not following instructions on how to properly use the system

If you want a water filter that you can hook up to your tap for everyday use then this is not a water filter you should purchase

We used to use a brita filter which was better than nothing but the replacement filters are expensive the amount of water they will effectively filter is fairly low and for the number of us it wasnt adequate

The instructions didnt really spell out the correct placement of the washers on the spigot but the instruction booklet did under the leaking spigot section
