It works, but i had to hunt and * to figure it out. This is the second one i have had. I recommend this one for people who have similar issue with me.
The rowrite1 pen uses a aaaa battery. Which is great if you have a stylus for your phone. It's nice to have the refill the first time around.
The connection and setup to the rowrite app is easy and straight-forward. I suspect that anyone who gets a hands on experience with both of these devices will come away with a preference for the ro write1.
It's not perfect but with a little editing it saves a ton of time retyping my notes. The export to evernote is welcome. I use the rowrite during sermons at church to help me focus on the message and then upload the translated text to my bible software... Read More
Overall i like the style and it's not bulky. The folio cover is a thoughtful addition as well.
Cons
People are rewarded monetarily for writing them or obtaining the device free. This is a faulty product.

It does limit flexibility with paper and pen but the pen writes well and the paper is only a minor issue when i consider the fact that i would be using paper anyways like a moleskin
