I believe it'd be great for just lip gloss, thick lip color pencils, etc, but not for full sized lipsticks.

The amazon questions about the product seem to apply to lipsticks though, not to the actual product being sold - a lipstick holder case.

The item even says lipsticks not included in the picture.

However the elastic spacing pretty tight cannot put a lipstick in each space, otherwise, the stitching will come loose.
