If there was an easy way to turn off the loud generic beep you get when pressing buttons id give this 5 stars for what it is a bottomlevel programmablewithkeypad cheaphotelroom safe just big enough for personal possessions and just good enough with included hardware to be an okay deterrent to children andor anyone that is looking for something quickandeasy to steal but doesnt have the time andor skillsequipmentcourage to try and bypass the safes door to get inside

This is not a quality safe its a 25 safe

And now for the 1 star downside there is afaict no way to disable the loud beep every time you press a key

And its loud loud enough that if you kept a nightstand gun in here heard what you thought was an intruder downstairs and decided to arm yourself while your wife quietly calls 911 im pretty sure that intruder is going to hear you beeping away no matter how far away they are andor how many doors are between you and them
