Pros

This is very easy to operate. El contro de velocidad es importante en la talla en madera.

Variac varies the amperage to what it is connected to. Works on my router, lathe and inc machine. Sometimes i need a slower speed when using dremel tool.

Used this with my router and was very pleased with the control it affords

With the slower speeds i can run a greater variety of router bits including large diameter panel raising sets

Rockwell didnt provide me with the motor type used in the x2 but i tried this controller and it did indeed slow the motor speed

So a variac needs to be matched with the motor being used amperage capacity

Shipping

My router was too fast 24000 rpm causing the bit to overheat be damaged

Competitiveness

I use this with a 2hp portercable router that had soft start and variable speed when i bought it

Ill likely be getting a couple more of these formy shop fans and other things
