Pros & Cons
Pros
These duck legs arrive in the fat in which they were confit’d. Save the leftover fat for frying other foods later.
The easiest duck confit. Open the can, arrange in casserole dish and heat. Since it is canned, it is easier to save if somehow the cassoulet has to go off the menu.
The product is great as rougie is a good brand in france but the product is pricy. My only gripe is that it’s pricey. But this confit is worth it.
Cons
The duck was dramatically overcooked to the point of being flavorless. Totally disassembled and very unappetizing. Rougie, which is the cheapest quality in france, has shipped their most inferior production to the usa intentionally.

The trick is to warm the can before you open it and try to take the pieces out because they are very fragile
