Pros & Cons
Pros
The blade is sharp enough with two hits your midway through. The top of the shovel blade has a nonslip type of step that allows you to put your full weight on the blade without slipping off. This shovel is by far the best shovel i've ever owned!
Sturdy as * and long. And this thing is amazing. Assassinated 37 roots so far. Highly recommend this item.
Cons
Only by extending the socket does the overall length of the shovel top out at 62 inches. It's lightweight, yes -- but unusable. This shovel is so very short that my back really complains.

At first it seemed a bit smaller and lighter than id first imagined maybe but i took it out to make a firepit and pried a few dozen modest sized stones and small boulders up out of halffrozen mud just as a test

Unfortunately wonderfully forged metal shovel has a blade that is just too narrow and small to be good for much of anything except getting into areas where it is too tight for a normal shovel
