It looked tougher and thicker in the pics and it wraps around the sides but no front protection except the cover

I would highly recommend getting a screen protector when getting this case because when you flip the cover over to stand the tab upright the cover can trap some some dirt or sand and if you are not careful that can or will end up between your screen and cover when its closed and that can lead to some bad scratchespermanent scratches on the screen

I havent had this problem as yet because i am a bit paranoid about where i put my tab other folks who use theirs out door may be more likely to have this problem
