Pros
These rulers are useful for measuring anyway, but a bit of lateral thinking meant a cheaper form to hold up our kitchen lights. Laser etched markings.
Cons
Came in damaged package and backside covered in rust. Not a quality product. The packaging is a real disgrace.
There's just a vague blank area where the start of the ruler should be. Bought 2 rulers, one of which was cut incorrectly so was over 1mm out. Cannot therefore read the markings on the ruler.
The first 15cm ruler was not cut straight at the 0cm/0in end - see photo top where it's crooked when lined up against the larger ruler. Cannot draw a straight line due to the stuck cardboard protruding from the sides of the ruler.

All in all i am really pleased with the quality vs the low price and i would certainly recommend them to friends
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality as the were sufficiently strong and rigid enough to provide the support that i needed
I was expecting this to be of poor quality for the price but its the opposite
Good quality steel rule used for general measurement not precision engineering
Price
Printing is nice and clear and it costs very little
Shipping
Also it helps me measure the box sizes for shipping which helps me in calculating the postage amount for the desired box
Competitiveness
These rolson rulers are excllent value for money
All at a fraction of the price of such items in leading bricks and mortar stores

For the price not bad but whilst the drawing edges are smooth the face edges are somewhat rough

I actually prefer my plastic ruler for measuring as it is transparent

You can get specialist ones for this job but the items are pricier even though they do the same thing

Only thing i would like to have seen is imperial on one side and metric on the other but for the price this is really nitpicking

I actually needed to bond the rulers onto the back cover behind my laptop screen due to a large crack causing a weakened lid
