It works just fine with traktor scratch pro and control vinyls not as much torque as technics but thats partially because it has a brushless motor that means when you hold your platter down youre not going to be wearing down on your engine and breaking the motor as much so its low torque but this turntable will last a very long time if low torque bothers you at all you can always go a slight nudge forward after a scratch but for the price the construction is beautiful comes with needles and everything got to love the 909 throwback too its sweeeattt for the price  Read Less
