They came in foam holders with plastic covering the bars themselves and bubble wrap on the foot of the bars

The front and rear bars are not interchangeable and are different lengths

I found it easier to seat the metal bracket in the track first then align the bolt hole on the plastic track foot with the bracket and then do the same with the bar foot
