This marble maze is fun and engaging. Easy to understand assembly manual. Watching the elevator - and the upper gear - at work is fascinating.

Piece are really sturdy and impressively precise. There is no glue or screws, everything is pressure fit. Most of it fits very tightly, so some pieces need to be given a decent amount of force.

Cons

The mechanical potion of this puzzle was garbage. Buyer beware - do not buy this product. No workaround. Now it is just a piece of junk.

The shafts and cogs regularly get stuck causing parts of it to pop apart. The hand crank is also very fragile and one must rotate it very very slowly because it rattles the entire model.

Too much back and forth slop between the elevator buckers causes the balls to partially fall in between. Had to trim one of the top pieces to keep it from catching the edge of the next bucket up and bind up the entire mechanism. The balls are not lift... Read More
