The lens is more than acceptably sharp wide open, but it's not clinical sharpness, which is nice. Contrast is not as high as with my zeiss a mount 85mm lens for instance but can be adjusted in-camera or in post. The lense works pretty well for the val... Read More
Great portrait lens, wonderful creamy bokeh. The bokah balls go into cat eyes closer to the edges, but gives it almost a circular affect which really draws focus on the center.
The build quality is nice and balanced and the performance is outstanding. The lens is surprisingly good, totally satisfied with this purchase. This really speaks to the build of this thing.
The final consideration (and one of the most important) is the price. Get this lens for literally any other reason. It's well worth the price. Definitely a lens worthy in anyone’s bag.

Tried three different times. If you take moving objects, the pictures are out of focus. Don't buy it.

So dont take portraits against the sun out of the box i heard the lens station can correct it with its latest firmware but im used to manual focus lenses anyways so im fine until i decide to order it

The jaundice color can only happen if you shoot with the white balance set to auto
