Something to note cranked all the way to infinity didnt get me my stars perfect it was usually a half a millimeter off of infinity that got me my brightest infocus stars

But i warned those using a sony nex cameras with onboard flash you will get lens shadows on the lower middle part of the image

I tried to minimize it but removing the hood but it does not solve the issue

Now this is a manual focus lens and so make sure your camera has manual assist feature which the sony nex cam has including peaking levels and i go zoom in the flash is useless now so replaced it with an electronic viewfinder just to make sure the photo is sharp

I got it used so i dont know how would a new lens behave but the infinity focus is definitely off
