Pros
It is durable for my 8 year old granddaughter. However, these are minor quibbles.

The case looks like the tread from a tire, and feels like it. The edges are a more tire rubbery feel and flexible enough to wedge the tablet into the case. For sturdiness and grip it is great.
Cons
The front of this case barely clears the front of the kindle. It appears to only be able to accomodate landscape mode.

I really bought it for the kickstand that’s lets me prop it up to read an ebook on a table or desk

However these are minor quibbles and for the price i definitely recommend this case

The one caveat and where it loses a point with me is the rather awkward description seems to indicate that the kickstand on this will work for either portrait or landscape orientation and it doesnt

Fingernails are required to remove it and it definitely comes off harder than it goes on

None of the buttons or ports have any kind of access flap as you might find on others or like on my phone case

This goes both ways being good in that theres no fumbling around but being not so good that there would be no protection at all from water
