Pros
This one has a bit of technological innovation interwoven into the story. Reminds me of a clive cussler story with a little extra science thrown in. Incorporates the environment, technology and politics in an intriguing way.
Lots of action (without gory blood and guts). The action is quick. Very suspenseful throughout.
Like a tsunami it is the origin of rogue waves that differs. Rogue waves are fascinating and horrifying at the same time. Excellently written, and narrated, literature.
Another interesting yarn in the sam reilly saga. A global catastrophe is about to occur. Sam reilly seems to a millionaire * type with a military background and is a patriot that wants to do good for our country.
Cons
