This mic is clean sounding and incredible. I like the onboard mic controls and it pairs well with my r5.

Extremely satisfied with my purchase. It also feels like a decent quality product. The only complaint is price.

It powers on and off automatically with my camera so that you can't forget to turn it on or off. As long as your camera has it's own mic input, just plug this microphone directly into the camera.

The rode videomic pro+ is a versatile tool that delivers professional-grade audio. The richness and clarity are astounding. If you're a run-and-gun filmmaker, this is definitely the way to go.

Cons

Vmp+ has a lot of great features but one fatal flaw in my opinion. If i push the battery any harder the terminal starts to bend even more and it also starts to scratch the battery and * through its case. This mic is a joke.

A lot of reviews said that the foam had an indent and mine did too hut that is because of the wiring that is in the packaging.

Way better than the cheep rode mic.

Reviews on yt are consistently good as they are on amazon, and it is great when reviewers supply with before and after sound comparisons.

But sometimes +20db is a little too much, and +10db would have been a better choice.
