The mike is actually too long for this camera if you use it outdoors with s dead cat cover

Theyre extremely directional and background noise isnt much of a concern i should point out that i use these in an acoustically treated room so there are no echoes bouncing off the walls

The media could not be loaded

When i tried to register the mic on rodes website i was told express media was not authorized to sell rode and the mic wouldnt be covered under the 10 year warranty
