Pros & Cons
Pros
The rode m3 can be used on stage, in the studio, for interviews, and for on location film work. It can be internally powered by a 9 volt battery if phantom power isn't available. The mic is sensitive and does a great job.
This clearly outperforms them all. Very solid constriction. Built tough, seemingly to withstand years of heavy use. Not at all dissatisfied tho.
Highlights
Quality
The low end response is fantastic for a small diaphragm condenser and the high pass filter and pad is a nice touch
Rode is famous for their 10 warranty and that is the main reason i bought this mic
The m3 is built 34tough34 seemingly to withstand years of heavy use
This mic feels like a piece of lead in your hand very heavy duty
Price
This microphone sounds much more expensive then it realy is
Competitiveness
I thought the m3 was more like the m5
