Locking mechanisms are great! The supplied lock pods are made of plastic but rockymounts does offer upgraded metal locks.

An excellent single holder bike rack. It rides pretty high on my xc90. It comes with a fat tire extra long strap that works perfectly for my fat tire bike as well.

It is so easy to use and truly secures our bike. My bike is in one piece and i drove at about 80mph most of the way without much hassle.

This rack is much much easier to assemble and install than the ones made by the big name companies like yakima and thule

You can mount the bike securely in under 20 seconds id say which is a plus compared to some of the other hitch racks ive used

I bought this one instead of the yakima singlespeed and thule

I tried two different style bikes on the rack and in both cases the front wheel wiggles
