Belt runs true noise level is a little high but not excessive you should always use ear plugs regardless if you do not have experience with type of machine then use something that is trash because it will eat wood quickly

Very simple solid machine very heavy cast iron i think body very common replacement size sanding padsbelts no slipping of the belt unless you literally put all your weight on the piece which i dont recommendneither does rockwell very simple machine if you are the kind of guy who likes to tune their machines

Why not 5 stars mine was very beaten up when i unboxed it some plastic parts were cracked or broken luckily nothing very important just the parts that make it look nice i cant send it back because the return shipping would almost double its price so i kept mine
