Pros

This is one solid saw, espcially since it's a jobsite saw. All the components are integratedvery well and very portable. All-in-all, this is a very worthwhile upgrade.

The fence slides reasonably well along the rail, * tight, and holds solid. There is a support bar that you can attach to the fence that would give you a bit of support.

Wide ripping capacity - has a collapsible extension that increases the ripping capacity. Collapsible extension support at the back - helps immensely when ripping large boards.

Use it as a coaster or frisbee. Just unlock, slide to the desired position, and lock.

Cons

The saw is light very duty, fine for building picnic tables and chicken coops, but not for fine furniture. I own a * 4010, and this seems cheaply made. Rockwell your product is high priced junk.

In comparison to a craftsman tablesaw that i have owned and used frequently since 1973, this saw is terrible. It bows on angled cuts. Anything else is considered improper use of tool. I doubt that my rockwell saw will last me 4.

Had to replace it. Had to dissemble it and send it back. The owners manual is of no help. In the process of trying to get a refund.

The handles were ripped out and falling apart

At this price point its no surprise it has assembly defects

Had to buy a new blade right away though because the one they sent me was bent from how they packed it which did not make me very happy

It had most of the packing material but the bubble wrap between the saw and the table was not packed in tight

It came and the box was pretty damaged

Competitiveness

Every bit as good as the craftsman 9inch saw i bought many years ago when craftsman products were somewhat better than today

Id put it up against dewalt any day

I could go on but point is ive set up and run six different production runs

The dust collection bag is better than a box on the floor under the machine but not much more
