Pros

The narrow width fits fairly well but mot as well as rockports that i have had in the past. They fit as expected and the styling is just what he wanted.

The soles tend to last about 2 years for me. The uppers form a little tighter socket on my foot than my other shoe. After the winter slushy weather is done, they feel like slippers.

They last a loooong time with regular waxing and care.

Cons

This shoe is for the first time i can and will call garbage. Just not as comfortable as the rockports of old. Materials feel cheap 'leather' or not. Will go to real shoe store next time.

Super tight on width. But no longer a good shoe for width. Shoe is way over sized for a 10 w. I think it was mislabeled as x_wide.

Now the sole are glued not sewn. Socks look like a toddler running thru mud and dirt. As others have stated, the sole is foam and it is doubtful that the top is still leather.
