One of the most promising new features is optical character recognition ocr which means you can scan in a page of hand written text and the app will be able to search through what you have written and even translate your writing into editable text

For one thing you are not limited to scanning just what you can write on the page as i found it possible to lay a receipt flat on the page mark my destination and get a picture of it

Try it with post it notes business cards anything that fits and lays flat on the page should work
