Pros & Cons
Pros
This outstanding story does more than just recount nasa's boldest mission. The book is extremely accurate with both people and technology, as well as how the geopolitical impacts of the mission.
Engaging, page-turner at times, keeps your interest. Words are inadequate to express how much i enjoyed this book. The rating is based on the book material and content.
The narration, by ray porter, is as good as it gets. The last line of the actual book is wonderful. Do yourself a favor and read this and all of his books. Ray porter.
Many today seem a bit blase about this. It is very informative and exhaustively researched.
Cons
The book is over dramatized and factually incorrect at times. It is littered with false claims and factual incorrect claims. Thats just one of many historic and scientific inaccuracies.

Unfortunately this mission and these men have been overshadowed by the missions that landed on the moon but they were the first to fly to the moon
